Pasco-Hernando State College encourages students to take advantage of the many services available at the college. PHSC faculty and staff are here to help students successfully complete their program and graduate by overcoming academic, financial and social challenges. Academic Advising
Advisors in the Student Affairs Office assist students with academic, career and personal matters. Schedule an appointment to meet with an Academic Advisor at any PHSC campus.
Academic Success Center
PHSC students receive support, guidance and free tutoring through the Academic Success Center (ASC) to help reach their academic and personal goals.
Free online tutoring is available to all PHSC students. We offer:

Bobcat Pantry
PHSC's Bobcat Pantry is a donation-based service, free to students who need assistance in having their basic needs met. The pantry provides supplemental food and various hygiene products to ensure no student goes without it. Students in need or individuals who would like to donate can call 855-669-7472 or email bobcatpantry@phsc.edu.

Instructional Materials and College Bookstore
To order textbooks, supplies and Bobcat merchandise, visit the College Bookstore website or in person at the PHSC West Campus. For those who need assistance on how to place an online order, pay fees, or have general questions, please call the College Bookstore at 727-816-3304 or send an email to phsc@bkstr.com.
Career Services
PHSC’s Career Services department helps students select a major, plan academic goals, develop career readiness skills and search for a job with an online career guidance system. Students have access to lectures and workshops, internships, online job search resources and career advising.
Many resources such as FOCUS 2 and the College Central Network are available to assist students. Students may schedule a phone or virtual appointment with a career advisor.

Financial Aid
Need help paying for college? The Financial Aid Office at PHSC provides information and advice about federal, state and institutional aid programs, as well as local scholarships that help students achieve their educational goals.
Financial Aid staff from all campus locations serve students daily. Students are encouraged to contact their financial aid office with any questions or concerns they may have and a financial aid representative will respond as soon as possible. Students can call their local financial aid office or send an email to finaid@phsc.edu.
Foundation Scholarship
Students are encouraged to apply for the many scholarships available through the PHSC Foundation. During the 2024-2025 academic year, the Foundation awarded $1,376,000 to students in scholarship funds.
Library
Each PHSC campus library is staffed with experts who direct students to informational resources that support all aspects of the College's instructional, administrative and cultural functions. Additionally, library instruction is offered to help students acquire the skills necessary to use all available resources effectively.
Ask a Librarian, PHSC's virtual reference service, is fully staffed and available to support students. Databases are available online through Canvas Courses or from the library’s website. On the database page, students can find links to FAQs, research guides and the Library Catalog.
Students and the community are encouraged to monitor the PHSC libraries' social media pages (@PHSCLibraries) on Facebook and X.
PHSC Mobile App
Students are encouraged to download the PHSC Mobile App to access the following:
- Stay informed with up-to-date information
- Learn more about campus activities and upcoming events
- View campus maps
- Check final grades, financial aid and scholarship information
- View course descriptions and class schedules
Student Accessibility Services
PHSC’s Office of Student Accessibility Services ensures equal access and provides accommodation and services to its registered students with disabilities.

Student Assistance Programs
The BayCare Student Assistance Program (SAP) is a free, voluntary and confidential counseling service for students facing personal problems that may interfere with their academic success. Students have access to face-to-face, telephone or virtual appointments. Current students can take advantage of Personal Advantage, an online resource from BayCare Behavioral Health, to view articles, tips, resources and more. Student Experience and Engagement
Student Engagement and Experience (SEE) at PHSC offers many opportunities to ensure student success. Participation in activities sponsored by SEE allows students to get involved with student life on campus where they can learn about educational resources and gain valuable leadership skills. Testing Services
PHSC provides Testing Services to help students in several areas—placement into college-level courses, admission into limited-access programs, assessment of basic skills for exiting career and technical education (CTE) programs, assessment of prior learning for college credit and industry certification.
