Ready to register for classes?

New Students

Students attending PHSC for the first time are required to attend New Student Group Advising session. It is essential to schedule a Group Advising session as early as possible as students will be taught how to register for classes. After attending the session, students may make changes to their schedules until the first day of classes.

Continuing Students

Students who are already enrolled with PHSC can review their individual degree audits to select courses that will meet their program requirements. Students can register for courses using the myPHSC online registration system.

After Registration

  1. Log on to Canvas to view courses once the semester begins.
  2. Buy or rent required textbooks. Students are automatically enrolled into the Bobcat Instant Access program to receive digital textbooks at a lower cost. Students must opt-out each semester to avoid charges.
  3. Read syllabi for courses and take note of important deadlines.

Note: Registration for on-campus courses is not allowed after the first class meets. Registration for online courses will be permitted until 8:59 p.m. on the Wednesday after classes begin.

Registration Questions?

Students having difficulty with registering for courses should meet with an Academic Advisor for assistance. During non-registration periods, advisors help students with education plans, transfer goals, resource needs, career advice, and other advising services. During peak registration periods, registration is the priority, therefore, students may need to schedule follow-up appointments to discuss other issues.
