A transient student (or guest student) is a student who is enrolled at one college, but taking classes at another that will count toward their degree at their home institution. A transient student can be someone who takes a course at PHSC while home for the summer, or who needs a course that is not available at the student's home institution.
Students who are admitted and degree seeking at PHSC (home school) and attending a host institution (state college or university other than PHSC) may be eligible to receive financial aid. Students requesting to received financial aid at PHSC while enrolled in courses at another state college or university must meet specific requirements.
