Veteran Services
PHSC's Veteran Services Advisors/School Certifying Officials (SCO) assists student veterans, survivors, eligible dependents, active duty, reserve and guard members with their academic pursuit, VA education benefits and activities.
Veterans Services Advisors/School Certifying Officials (SCO) help ease a student veteran's transition in starting, continuing, or resuming their education. Currently, PHSC offers assistance with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) educational benefits to more than 600 current student veterans/veteran dependents. Unlike many other colleges and universities, PHSC's Veterans Services Advisors/School Certifying Officials (SCO) also serve as Academic Advisors for the college's student veterans and veteran-eligible family members. This allows PHSC to provide student veterans with excellent customer service and expert advice.
