Graduation Requirements
Students ready to graduate should first review their degree audit in WISE to be sure they have met the requirements to complete their applicable degree or certificate. These requirements may include:
- Two years of a foreign language
- This can be completed in high school or at a regionally accredited college
- Civic Literacy course and if applicable the assessment test
- Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE)
- Currently enrolled in or completed the courses required for your program major
- PHSC and cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher
- PHSC program residency credits

Civic Literacy
As per Florida Rule 6A-10.04213, students must demonstrate competency in civic literacy.
Foreign Language Requirement
All students pursuing an Associate in Arts (AA) degree are required to meet the Foreign Language Competency Requirement to graduate.
Students must take 2 semesters of a foreign language at the college level to meet the foreign language requirements. It must be the same language; for example, Beginning Spanish 1 and Beginning Spanish 2.
Students that took a foreign language in high school must show proof of 2 credits earned in the same foreign language.
